Please note Worcestershire Camera Club special interest groups (Digital, Contemporary, Audio Visual, and Photography Development) are currently running online via Zoom.  Members signed up for notifications from the groups will receive emails with details of the meetings.

Our December meeting once again provided an insight into the depth and ability of our Group members to find meaningful subjects and interpretations drawn from the fascinating world about us.

Both Bob and Eric discovered a plethora of signage demanding our adherence to rules and regulations.  Maddy, Lucy and Sally-Ann explored elements of the natural world and landscape, whilst, to represent poppies, Clive preferred a more abstract approach.  The effects upon society wrought by the Covid-19 pandemic continue to inform the work of Tessa, Charles, Peter and Nigel.  Whilst Judy sought solace within the remains of Much Wenlock Priory, Kaz introduced us to gasoline stations around the world.  Taking us upon a sombre journey documenting stages of metamorphosis, Stewart guided us through his evolving collection of alternative beings.

Our ‘outside source’ this month featured an amusing take upon extreme home security by North American photographer, Seth Johnson.  Here’s the link: 'Keep Those Bad Guys Out'
