Welcome to Worcestershire Camera Club

Worcestershire Camera Club is a friendly club aiming to encourage the enjoyment and practice of photography. We hope our varied programme of talks and events will offer something for everyone to enjoy whether you're a novice just starting out or a qualified professional. Our new season starts in September but, for Club Members, our special interest groups continue during the summer.  The progamme is being presented via Zoom until further notice.

The Club  meets on Tuesday evenings during the season, September to May, with 4 special interest groups meeting on Thursdays throughout the year. Autumn Workshop - 8th Nov

This is a wonderful opportunity to visit this renowned garden and explore photographic opportunities during a usually closed-to-the-public period.

The workshop is suitable for those beginning photography to more able and advanced workers. Led by Club members, Clive Haynes, Dave Dewson, Paul Mann and Maddy Pennock, the workshop will include the following topics:

  • Interpreting autumn
  • Exploring autumn colour
  • Understanding the basics of your camera
  • Useful accessories ?
  • The principles of good composition
  • Breaking the rules to make exciting images
  • Close-up and macro photography
  • Getting creative with your camera
  • Exploring reflections
  • Exploring camera movement and motion blur
  • Multiple-exposure and intended camera motion techniques
  • Landscape opportunities
  • Nature photography

Review and analysis of selected images taken during the day at 4.30 pm

Booking is essential.

Special price for WCC members: £20 per person
