Tuesday 27th DUNCAN LOCKE - "Searching for the Silk Road"

Duncan says . . .

"Last year I went to Central Asia visiting Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, four countries which historically were on the Silk Road between China and the West. All now independent and free from Soviet control, they are developing  rapidly creating a rich mixture of the old and the new. My talk will consist of images of the stunning scenery and of the people encountered during my visit. Did I find much evidence of the old or even the new Silk Road? Watch my talk and see!"
