More information about Worcestershire Camera Club.

During our club season, from September to April, you will find us at the Bishop Allenby Hall in Barbourne every Tuesday evening for our main Club nights. We are proud to offer a varied programme of talks from distinguished guest speakers on subjects ranging from landscape and travel photography and audio-visual sequences to monochrome prints and even iPhone photography.

If you are interested in becoming a member, feel free to attend one of our Club meetings and experience what we do. For a small fee of £3 per meeting you can visit us up to 3 times before becoming a member. Take a look at our programme and choose a night to come along.

Worcestershire Camera Club is a friendly club aiming to encourage the enjoyment and practice of photography. All photographers from complete beginners to professionals will be assured of a warm welcome and we’re sure you’ll find something to enjoy and inspire. We run a varied programme of talks, competitions, practical evenings and social events. Regular photographic trips are arranged and members are encouraged to get involved. We also run a variety of exhibitions throughout the year. The atmosphere is friendly and informal.

In addition to the weekly programme, we have three specialist groups: Digital Group, AV Group and the more recently established Contemporary Photography Group. These informal groups meet once a month to discuss and demonstrate techniques to help you develop your photography skills. Subjects covered might include anything from basic camera techniques, using Photoshop and Lightroom to process the images, through to printing and presentation.

To assist members who would like to improve their photographic skills we also have a mentoring scheme.
